Slamp Veli – designer hanging light, 60 cm, plum

50 cm high VELI hanging light with four 20 W bulbs The extraordinary VELI hanging light is manufactured by the designer lighting company Slamp. Slamp is based in Rome, the capital of Italy. It was founded at the beginning of the 1990s. Roberto Ziliani is the company founder. After working as a designer for several years, he discovered his passion for light and lighting. The designer lighting company Slamp puts great emphasis on a very high quality to ensure all of the lights made by the company look attractive and are very durable. But that’s not the extraordinary thing about the company. The thing that truly sets Slamp apart is its ability to use and develop the old and the new without prejudice. There it makes use of classic materials such as leather, crystal, stainless steel, and copper, whilst its employees simultaneously develop and patent completely new materials. These materials include Opalflex®; the main component of the VELI hanging light. Many individual ruffles were created from Opalflex® to make the lampshade resemble a flower. The colour is opal white. Depending on the version, this also applies to the edges. The VELI hanging light is also available with edges in plum or anthracite. The lampshade is 50 cm tall and has a diameter of 60 cm. It can be suspended down to a length of 150 cm. Despite its size, the entire hanging light weighs only 2.1 kg, which means that hanging the light and changing the four 20 W bulbs don’t pose any problems. It has the protection class II and the IP code IP20. Energy efficiency class:A++
