Dimmable LED pendant lamp Cavity Suspension The roundish shaped luminaire body of the LED pendant luminaire Cavity Suspension is made of aluminium and serves the luminaire as a reflector. It is mainly responsible for the light control, which is due to the fact that the aluminium housing is hollowed out and this hollowing represents a trumpet-shaped light emission. The light is directed downwards and emitted without glare. The brightness of the LEDs can be adjusted by means of an external trailing-edge phase dimmer. Cavity Suspension is suitable for rooms with a ceiling height of up to 3 m. The two industrial designers Jean-Marc da Costa and Manfred Wolf have designed Cavity. They are also the founders of serien.lighting, a lighting company founded in 1985 and now internationally renowned. The luminaires of serien.lighting are characterised by a mostly simple but very refined design, in which the latest technology is perfectly combined with minimalist design.
