The large brass-coloured ring, which forms the shade and at the same time a kind of holder for the sphere with the lamp, is attached to the ceiling by three fine steel cables. The ball hides the illuminant inside. It consists of pure, satinized glass and lies almost freely in the floating brass bowl. The satin glass combined with the brass coloured ring and ceiling canopy make the lamp look very high quality and noble. It is definitely an object that attracts attention. Due to the milky surface, the light does not emerge in full luminosity, but is glare-free. The ring shields most of the light a little, but because of the hole in which the glass ball is located, there is a fixed light emission surface through which the light is radiated directly downwards.
