LE KLINT 101 small, plastic pendant light

101 designer hanging light with a hand-pleated lampshade made of plastic foil Le Klint, the manufacturer of this unique hanging light, can boast of a tradition dating back to the beginning of the 20th century. Around that time, the architect P.V. Jensen-Klint produced the first pleated lampshade for a paraffin lamp. From then on, this lampshade was refined and developed further within the Klint household, and became a popular gift for the family to give to friends and relatives. In 1943, Tage Klint made the family’s craft hobby into a career and founded Le Klint, a lighting company whose hallmark is still the hand-pleated lampshades. Every single lampshade is still made by hand in Odense on the island of Funen, ensuring that every 101 hanging light is a truly unique item. Many designs from the early years of the company are still amongst the bestsellers today. The 101 hanging light, also known as the “Fruit Lantern”, and the “Kiplamp” are two early lights that are still commonly seen today. Energy efficiency class:A++
