LE KLINT Carronade M – pendant light, black

Black Carronade designer hanging light by Le Klint Carronade is a hanging light designed by Markus Johansson, who was inspired by old canons from the 17th century when giving this light its shape and when naming the series of lights. The lampshade is mounted in an bracket made of solid American walnut wood, in which it can be unlocked, adjusted and locked in any position by the two brass locking screws at the sides. Therefore, the Carronade hanging light provides flexible light that is not only suitable for illuminating a table or a counter. In his designs, the Danish industrial and product designer Markus Johansson wants to convey emotions and combine design, form and function. He has undoubtedly achieved this with the Carronade series of lights. The Carronade designer hanging light was manufactured in-house at Le Klint, a Danish lighting manufacturer with a long tradition. The company Le Klint was founded in 1943 in Copenhagen, and made a name for itself at the time with the handmade lampshades that it developed using a special transverse pleating technique. Today, as well as new designs by many well-known designers, the lighting creations from the company’s early years are still part of its product portfolio and still enjoy great popularity.
