The tulip-inspired hanging light The Bouquet with 5 pleated lampshades The Bouquet is a decorative light whose five lampshades are shaped to look like a tulip using a traditional cross-pleating technique. Designer Sinja Svarrer Damkjær was inspired by florists she saw at a weekly market on a research trip to Italy, who arranged tulips into loose bouquets. The interpretation of this shape and naturalness, and its transformation into a lighting concept, has created a unique series of lamps with natural, curved and rustic details. The detailed and delicate pleats of the lampshades are decorated with a small oak detail on the top, and are given a rustic touch by the special suspension system. It consists of power cables which are covered with natural linen and interwoven by hand. This makes it possible for the viewer of The Bouquet to create an individual arrangement of the lampshades to suit their own living spaces. LE KLINT is a lighting company that was founded in 1943 and is still based in Denmark. It has made a name for itself around the world with its traditional craftsmanship and the pleated lampshades created by founder P. V. Jensen-Klint. Each light has been designed in collaboration with designers who fully represent LE KLINT’s values, and so carry on the DNA and history of the manufacturer. Energy efficiency class:A++
