Designer floor lamp Alien XL easy in an unusual shape “Made in Germany” is one of the attributes that characterises the floor lamp Alien XL easy. Germany in this case is Cologne, as that is where the Production and Dispatch departments of the lighting manufacturer next are located. The company was founded in 2000 by Thomas Schulte and has, in his own words, designed “light cast into shape” since then. The company’s head designer is Constantin Wortmann from Munich, who has already worked for the well-known lighting designer Ingo Maurer in the course of his career. The name and the design of the floor lamp Alien XL easy promise something extraordinary. Like a strange being, an “alien”, the rounded body winds upwards from the floor. Made entirely of high-quality polyethylene, the body ensures a translucency which guarantees a cosy and, above all, glare-free and softly scattered light. The integrated dimmer on the cable allows the light bulb to be seamlessly dimmed. Energy efficiency class:A++
