Philips Hue Buckram White Ambiance LED ceiling spotlight for expansion To extend an existing Philips Hue system or a Philips Hue luminaire with dimmer switch, use this single flame LED ceiling spot Buckram, which is supplied without dimmer switch. It can either be operated with an existing dimmer switch or integrated into an existing Philips Hue system. This requires a Philips Hue Bridge, which provides the connection between the spotlight and the smartphone or tablet, so that once the spotlight has been installed via the Hue app, the light can be controlled with a tablet or smartphone. Also new is the operation of the spotlight via Bluetooth and the Hue Bluetooth app. Special features / compatibility – controllable with the Hue dimmer switch (see accessories) – dimmable (via app or dimmer switch) – controllable with matching Hue app (ZigBee) and Hue Bluetooth app – compatible with ZigBee-based systems such as Innogy, Bosch, Magenta (Telekom) and Busch-Jäger – intelligent lighting control Option a: ZigBee integration via bridge and router, such as the Philips Hue Bridge (see accessories); this enables local or remote control via Hue app and the option of voice control via Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit (Siri) and Google Assistant – intelligent lighting control Option b: Direct on-site control via Bluetooth with free Hue Bluetooth app. If more than ten lamps are used within the Bluetooth control, the use of a bridge is recommended.
