Designer table lamp Drop_4 Small as a “luminous teardrop” The series of lights, from which the table lamp Drop_4 Small comes, was called “Liquid Light” by its creators, the design team Hopf & Wortmann. The reason for this name was quite clear the shape of the light. The body is shaped like a teardrop which is made of white polyethylene. The closed shape and the white plastic provide a pleasantly glare-free light, which is emitted all around. Drop_4 Small is a product from the German designer lighting manufacturer next. The lights are made exclusively in the company’s own production facilities in Cologne. The company next stands for “light cast into shape”. This is how it refers to its own lights and what it offers the customers. Besides the look of the lights, the products from next are characterised by the hallmark “made in Germany”.
